Review: Season of The Witch

season of the witchSeason of The Witch written by Natasha Mostert is a murder/thriller /mystery stand alone novel in the adult fiction genre. It was publish on Jan 31 of this year. I received a copy of this book via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed curling up with this book. I recommend it to anyone who likes to see a good murder mystery be unraveled.

Mostert’s book is an easy book to read that doesn’t take a lot of serious contemplation. Not that that is a bad thing, quite the contrary. As anyone that has read my reviews could figure out, I enjoy light reads. Not all books need to be deep and brooding. There is a good amount of romance without being over the top that captivates the imagination without being uncomfortable. The element of mystery and magic make for a great combination. Gabriel the murder solving psychic (kind of) falls for twin sisters who are involved in a case he is working. They own the home the victim of Gabriel’s case was last seen in and he suspects one of them might be the killer. What happens when a man falls for twin sisters, one of whom may or may not be a murderer? Read Season of the Witch and find out!
